We've moved to a new booking system, Momence

Dear Grinning Community,

We moved from Mindbody to Momence. We made this change to provide a smoother, more reliable experience for students, teachers, and staff.

Your account details, class credits, memberships, and gift cards have been securely transferred.

👉 To book classes and to access your account, follow the instructions in the email to set your password—it was sent late at night on Feb 24 with the subject line [Action Required] The Grinning Yogi has transitioned to Momence!

If you don’t see this email, please check your spam & promo folders. You can also set the password here using the SAME email you used with Mindbody.

Momence Booking and Login

What does this switch mean for me?

You’ll now book classes through Momence. MindBody will no longer work.

If you book via ClassPass, you can continue to book through their app.

Have my memberships, packages, credits, and gift cards transferred Over?

Yes. Everything has moved over automatically! If something doesn’t look right once you log into your account, please email us and we’ll take care of it.

Will I need to create a new account?

No. Just reset your password. You should have an email from us with a link or you can reset here via forgot password. Please use the SAME email you used with Mindbody.

I already have a Momence account with another studio. What do I Do?

If your existing Momence account email matches the one we have on file, when you log in, you should see Grinning in your dashboard!

If you need to update your email with Grinning to match your existing Momence account, please email us and we can update your account.

I use ClassPass….is anything changing for me?

No. You can continue to book via ClassPass, though if you’d like to start booking directly with us, we can send a treat your way! Email us for details! 💛

I’m having issues!

I didn’t receive the activation email.

The email was sent to the email on your Grinning account. Please check your spam or promotions folder.

If you still don’t see it, you can reset your password with Momence here.

I’m in momence, but I don’t see my classes or credits.

No worries, please email hello@thegrinningyogi.com so we can help.  Meanwhile, please drop in* to classes; we can fix this later!

*Please note, we’re unable to guarantee a spot for drop-ins. However, the only classes that often have a waitlist are Ashish’s Monday evening classes and the Saturday morning 9am classes at Cap Hill and Greenwood.

I see something weird in my Momence account.

Memberships and Packages

Will my autopay monthly membership continue?

Yes. All active memberships will continue without interruption!

Will my autopay monthly rate remain the same?

Yes. You will continue to pay the same rate.

Have my unlimited membership benefits changed?

We’ve added a few bells and whistles for you. Check it out here!

Class Schedule

Have class schedules changed?

No. Our in-person class schedule, teachers, and memberships remain the same.

I don’t see online video rental classes on the Schedule?

We’ve upgraded our video rentals system to an on-demand video library with over 150 classes.
Unlimited access is included with our unlimited membership.

Our Asana 101 videos are always free to watch and individual 1-week rentals are $10 a week.

Please note: we’re cleaning up some descriptions, images and tags in the video library and hope to have those done by next week! For now, please pardon the dust.

What should I expect during the first week?

New systems take a little adjustment, so there may be minor hiccups as we get everything fully dialed in.

If something doesn’t look right in your account, please reach out — we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
