To me, yoga is Life; the breath that moves through all things. It’s the frequency of my body, the stillness of my mind, the waves of emotion, and the pulse of the earth beneath my feet. It’s authenticity, transparency, love; the movement and transformation that can connect us deeper to our intrinsic selves.
I first came to yoga as a teenager through sports. Moving mindfully opened something new in me; a deep sense of peace and trust in both body and mind. My mat quickly became my home.
I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Seattle in 2016, followed by a 40-hour advanced training, as well as a health coaching certification in 2020. I am forever a student—continually studying, practicing, and inspired by teachers past and present. I am the creator and founder of The Practice, hosted on Patreon.com, where I’m devoted to cultivating yoga that feels thoughtful and inclusive for my community.
Yoga continues to evolve me; turning me inward, grounding me in humility, and deepening my devotion to this sacred path.
Beyond the studio, I’m most connected when immersed in nature. Walking barefoot, hiking with my dog, or simply admiring the mountains. The more peace we create within ourselves, the more we can offer it to the world. This is the best reminder that love is the bridge between you and everything.
